About Us in short

Debora keeps herself busy with do-it-yourself projects and original details at home. She always sees possibilities in old stuff and therefore she can't resist getting her hands on. Sandpaper and paintbrush are always right there.

With Stroomt Debora takes care of visual design for projects and presentations.

Doreen has a new hobby: massaging people. To master it and to do it right she's doing a training. Additionally, she finds it relaxing to be creative, among other things by making her own jewelry.

At Stroomt: Doreen commits herself to make sure that everything that has to do with office management (mostly financial and facilitating stuff) flows as invisibly as possible. That enables everyone else to focus on his or her own work.

Iwan plays basketball and his hight helps him with that. Went to Riga last year with the team. Didn't see one basketball. Iwan enjoys intensity and loves authenticity. That's probably why he likes to see artists in small venues.

At Stroomt: Iwan is an internet consultant and design lead. More often than not, he can get people forward. Even when resistance dominates: patience and respect will get you far.

Jonathan sings lieders and opera in his spare time. Though of course he also spends a lot of time listening to and enjoying music. He has just moved back to the Netherlands after being in America for 10 years. Back in Holland it takes some getting used to. Jonathan comes for working for SAP and then Google, now working for Stroomt he finds it a breath of fresh air.

At Stroomt: Jonathan is both a User Experience Strategist and designer. He helps companies take their visions and make them into a reality. He is also a conceptual designer, someone who loves the challenge of taking seemingly contradictory requirements and making a coherent and compelling user experience.

Laura loves to travel. She enjoys feeling and experiencing and being in new places and spots already visited. Colours, scents and tastes are part of the travel experience. She also enjoys watching movies, reading and eating; preferably with friends and a glass of red wine. Now and then, when she misses the tastes of her country of origin, she cooks Mexican food for her friends.

At Stroomt: Laura is interaction and visual designer. She makes user friendly interfaces and designs intuitive, interactive products. She also pays attention to the lay out, use of colours, typography and other visual elements.

Maarten finds his relaxation in, on or around the water. On it with a surfboard or a sailing boat, in it in a diving suit. And near it by enjoying a long walk through rugged terrain.

At Stroomt: Maarten wants to make information as accessible as possible. Information has a lot of people working every day. Why shouldn't that be in an enjoyable way? Maarten strives for it.

Menno enjoys life. Nice foods and beverages are his favourite hobbies. He loves to spend an afternoon in the kitchen to prepare a meal. As long as contributes to a thoroughly enjoyable evening.

At Stroomt: Menno is a paladin for intuitive interfaces. Usable solutions for big or small target groups. As long as the usability is at the center, he won't dodge complex issues.

René enjoys people with passion. Nothing is more fun than talking about what drives people, preferably with a fine glass of whisky. He will get inspiration from playing squash, music and film (Spanish director Julio Medem is his favourite). And from his children: those are the most passionate creatures he knows.

At Stroomt: René listens, observes and analyses. He looks for the essence of a system for users and clients. He likes to play with the jigsaw until the design reflects that essence. Beauty is in the simplicity.

Sander has made his work out of his hobby by starting at Stroomt. Sander just finished his education Communication & Multimedia Design to be an information architect and an interaction designer. Sander has many expectations and has the will and enthuisiasm to start his projects. Armed with knowledge from his education, he heads to conquer the world of work.

Sander lives by the motto "Who does good, receives good".

With Stroomt: Sander can be who he wants to be at Stroomt. And he believes that when he can be who he wants to be, he gets the best results possible.

Simone enjoys being on two skis in the snow the most. She gets a feeling of freedom from that. Even though those shoes can be pretty tight. Exploring a new white world on the other side of the mountain is always impressive. However, she can also enjoy teaching others to ski.

At Stroomt: Simone likes to look at the details, but not without having seen the entire thing first. She likes to create an overview. And even if someone has thought about it for a long time, it still has be logical. Simone prefers to adapt the environment to the human being as much as possible. Not the other way around.
