Radboud Universiteit Nijmegen - Writing Studio

The Writing Studio is a multilingual online writing center for students and teachers, for developing and coaching students with their professional and academic writing skills. In the Writing Studio weblogs, tags, individual and collective portfolios and a social network can be used for collaborative writing and feedback from fellow students. The Writing Studio is a joint effort of the University of Nijmegen, Hogeschool Arnhem-Nijmegen and the University of Antwerp.

Stroomt helped design the Writing Studio and provided development supervision.

The Writing Studio offers teaching modules for teachers with additional teaching tips, wizards, forms that can guide the students through the various stages of the writing process, and a feedback editor that enables users to add both standard and open commentary to texts written by someone else.

The Writing Studio is an environment in which the contributions of the users determines its success.
